First gig: I went to loads of gigs when I was younger with my family, first rock gig I went to without my family was Green Day at Manchester evening news arena 2005.

Worst gig: Give it a Name 2007 - Birmingham. I only liked 2 bands (MSI and The Used) it cost a fortune, I had to put up with annoying 14 year old emo kids and stand without any food for 7 hours.

Best gig:The Wildhearts- Sheffield Corp 2007. Just a fantastic gig, great performance, was center barrier and caught Ginger's plectrum.

Last gig:Mindless Self Indulgence - Leeds 2008/ Last Festival - Download 2008

upcoming gigs: Tickets bought - Wacken Festival, Leeds Festival, Damnation Festival, Meshuggah, Rancid
Needing to buy - less than Jake, Slipknot (hopefully tour with COB and Machine Head) and summer slaughter (Abigail Williams, Suicide Silence, Berzerker, as blood runs black, born of Osiris)

I missed seeing them at Download since I could not be bothered, same went for a lot of bands actually hence why I debating seeing them at The Plug.
Though looking at your list reminded me of Reggae and the Full effect, They not on my list. I missed off like half the GIAN line up and all because I not even sure if they count as decent enough bands. Then again I have HIM on and I hate them so I suppose I should add the others.

I'm only just starting to want to go to gigs, due to previously me having a huge panic when around big crowds.

Upcoming Gigs: Apocalyptica on 5th December

Lol. You should of come and saw them at DL.
Is it Perttu? The one with black hair.. anyway he went topless and lets say his trousers were rather low... and we saw bum. Christina Scabbia made a special apperance to do a song with them.

Can't wait til they are at the plug though. :D

I got soooo lazy at download, I did not even bother with headliners and on the Friday I only saw Disturbed and half of Seether.
May go see InMe at corp, since its only 8 pounds.
I should really stop looking at gigs!

I going to see InMe at corp hopefully.. my friends dragging me there as shes a massive fan.
I'm the same.. i always look for gigs and then i'm like i deffo have to go! Hahaha.

I slept in most days so usually missed the first few bands. Which meant i Missed Slaves to Gravity, From First to Last and Fightstar which i wanted to see. :( But i'm seeing FFTL in a few months so its Okay.

Now was it me, or at Disturbed, the crowd wasn't really into it if you know what i mean? and i think that made it not as good as it could have been. Kind of a let down really.
Seether were freakin awesome though.

I think the major dissappointment for me at Download was Biffy Clyro.

Seen Biffy Clyro 3 times. To be honest they never been that good live which is a shame really.

may go see InMe just to break up the wait between gigs. apart from 2 festivals I have no gigs until Summer Slaughter at the corp on Second November.

We Are The Ocean/Canterbury/All Forgotten - All 3 bands are freaking amazing live. The singer from WATO (I Forget his name) came into the crowd like, came off the side of the stage and walked round and into the circle pit for an entire song), i met all of the bands after and they were really nice funny guys. One of the guys from All Forgotten got stressed about the Blue lights above them.
But yeah, they are really good - totally recommend them.

Kids in Glass Houses are really good live, i saw them as a support act for Funeral for a Friend then on their own at Download this year. I liked them alot. :)

I saw Incase of Fire at Download aswell, they are good too.

So yes, i recommened all 3 bands! :D

Yeah i was quite looking forward to Biffy but i was really dissappointed, they hardly interacted with the crowd, which isn't very good - personally i think the more the band interact with the crowd the better the show.

I like InMe, i've only heard a couple of their songs though, and my mates dragging me along cuz otherwise she would be going on her own. Should be a good night though.

and Whats Summer Slaughter? What bands are playing?

I only know a bit of InMe from when they released their first album Overgrown Eden back in 2003 and had a bit of a listen back then plus their last album an old friend of mine used to play all the time.
However I seen them twice before thanks to festivals and they always put on a good show so I may as well.

Summer Slaughter is:
Suicide Silence
as blood runs black
Abigail Williams
The Berzerker
Born of Osiris
Annotation of an Autopsy

Why is called Summer Slaughter, if its in November? Sillypeople.

cause they silly people and did not think it through That when they started the tour in the US in the summer that it would not be summer by the time it reaches the UK. Tickets are really cheap only £12.50

Anyone else got any more festivals left this year now Download is over?
I leave for Wacken in 2-3 weeks then I have Leeds festival after that and for day festivals I have Damnation and Summer Slaughter.
