They took gullible out of the Dictionary ...

The thread about the Scottish Unicorns reminded me that about 2 years ago Blue Peter - that I just happened to start watching when flicking through channels - had an April fools joke about a horse that was crossed with Rhino DNA to make a Unicorn ... & I believed it

What is the silliest thing you've ever believed?

Once my friend and I were eating a stew round my house and I managed to convince her the carrots in it were actually 'Kacowcow beans.' We were about 8 mind. A few years ago my mum also sent me a postcard from Texas with a jackalope (rabbit with antlers) on the front, which I genuinely believed was a real thing for quite a while. Despite this when I was younger I didn't believe in mongooses. Like, I just thought the idea of a weasel-like creature that kills snakes was ridiculous and it was obviously a myth.

When I was really young I asked my mum where I came from. She said she found me in the rubbish outside amongst the cabbages. I believed her. My sister was told the that the stork brought her. I feel I got a raw deal!

Not something silly I believed but one of my best friends thought that reindeer were mythical creatures.

Oh and this was until she was about 16.

Oh god I want to hear you say,
I want to hear you say that you were wrong again
