Well, whenever i feel triggered, i'll make a list of why i'm feeling that way. I'll divide it into 2 columns, namely "Why should i cut?" and "Why shouldn't i cut?", then fill them up.
It helps at times because you're accessing your mood while you're at it. It clears up our thoughts, so that we can 'move on' in a way.
Otherwise, it might help to do activities that'll keep your mind off those thoughts. What do you like to do? Listen to music? Cycle? Jog? (:
