I've got a feeling i'm going to relapse

I'm nearly 6 months self harm free but at the moment I've got a feeling inside me i'm going to relapse. All the tell tale signals are there, worrying over things, getting irritable, thinking of blades/cutting. Crying/stress

Only thing is I dont know what to do about it.

Any advice?

Wow. 6months free. Give yourself a pat on the back, you deserve it. (:

Well, whenever i feel triggered, i'll make a list of why i'm feeling that way. I'll divide it into 2 columns, namely "Why should i cut?" and "Why shouldn't i cut?", then fill them up.

It helps at times because you're accessing your mood while you're at it. It clears up our thoughts, so that we can 'move on' in a way.

Otherwise, it might help to do activities that'll keep your mind off those thoughts. What do you like to do? Listen to music? Cycle? Jog? (:

First of all sweetheart 6 months is amazing and something to be proud of. It shows that you do have the strength to fight this so keep reminding yourself of that and of how far you have come. Is it possible to get rid of the blades if you have them there so the temptation isn't there. Also maybe write out a list of distractions you can use for when things are tough, whether that is watching a movie, listening to some music or baking amongst other things. You can beat this.
