I can't imagine how scary and powerfully overwhelming that must have felt. It must have been awful.

Hurting is what we do to cope and so it's not surprising you hurt. I think many of us would in that situation.

I know you would never publicly show distress and so I know this must have been a terrible ordeal for you.

I don't hate you and I know you'll reject my pity but I do feel for you and I send all my love to you. No one and I mean no one deserve what you have been through.

Also sending hugs. And even though it might seem impossible, try to go easier on yourself! You've had a flashback, I can't imagine how stressful that must be. If something does happen, try to be kinder to you. Self-care is important - and easier said than done x
