i want to disengage from my team

my therapist has upset me by being rude and obnoxious

i'm doing DBT but i don't think it is the right treatment for me and i'm getting frustrated with it.

the problem is, if i just don't turn up all the time, and disengage from my CMHT I live in supported accommodation so they will contact staff here who will bug me about it.

i just want to disengage from them and have nothing to do with mental health service anymore because they're not listening to me, they're not explaining things to me, they're whispering and talking behind my back.

and i can't deal with it anymore.

also my therapist makes me feel like a tw@.

is it possible to just disengage and for the to fizzle away into the background of my life?

Like you've said, disengaging will only make your team contact you more. If you feel like you have an issue with therapy then it's much more responsible to talk it through with the therapist than to just stop going and not face it.

Isn’t it funny how day by day nothing changes but when you look back, everything is different…

I tried talking to my therapist about it but she was just attitudey and rude.

I really dislike her and don't know how else to sensibly go about withdrawing from services.
