A binge is defined by calories, a number of calories over the recommended amount.
I can definitely relate to feeling emotionally as though I'm binging despite the amount of food not being a binge, but I think a key thing to remember is that the feeling of being out of control, even actually being out of control is less to do with the food and amounts as it is the feelings, thoughts behind all of it.
With an ed nothing is really simple and black and White, atleast not whilst in the depths.
