My parents, friends & family seem to like watching TV so much, & I don't so much that I don't even own one, doing other stuff & maybe going on the net for a bit is good enough for me, why this probably worldwide obsession with TV?

I like tv, but when I'm low I tend to not bother as much. I guess it's about escapism. People like to be absorbed in a good story.

Its funny but televisions as devices have become amazing and affordable - at a time when hardly anything is worth watching lol.

I just bought my first 4K television and with 4K content its spectacular as TVs go. The problem is that there just isn't much of that content now. I'm really not into all the shows about drug dealers (Breaking Bad), politicians, police, lawyers, housewives, tattoo artists, footballers, studs and strumpets etc. If it weren't for live sports I wouldn't have a TV. Bring back the Olympics lol.
