ED service assessment - before and after

They phoned this morning. I'm seeing someone else, a doctor, on 7th November. I'm relieved that something's in place. Though I'm having paranoid feelings about the doctor-ness - it's a nurse I saw before. I guess it's just who's available to take over, but still feels uncomfortable.

And just a note to say that I'm considering leaving RYL.
I know I did that before, then came back. But it really feels like it's not the best place for me any more.

Beyond that, I'm feeling really unsettled by everything that's going on for me, so much so I'm not sleeping well at all, I just can't relax, even though I want to.

I'm sorry to hear things feel so unsettled at the moment, I can understand those feelings and it can be difficult when you just can't relax or when you feel so tense, anxious, unsettled about it all.

Is there anything in particular about RYL that's making it not seem like the best place for you at the moment? If you do decide to leave, I hope it's for positive reasons and that you're able to find a way to release your feelings if you need to.

And good luck with seeing the doctor on 7th November, I know it can be very scary to see someone else etc, so I hope it's helpful. x

I just don't feel comfortable here any more, always having to look over my shoulder. I have places where I can talk about my feelings and experiences of recovery freely, and that helps. It just feels time to move away from here, especially as I don't really have the emotional resources to also give to others at the moment. I will miss some of the people here if/when I leave, though.

I'm doing pretty well generally, though there's a lot on my mind, and I'm so tired.

I'll miss you if you leave Katie. I know things are very difficult for you at home at the moment, and I hope once the follow up is done, you'll feel a lot better.

It's work with customers that's the difficulty right now, rather than home.
But most of all the follow up.

If you don't feel sure about leaving then maybe consider just taking a break from here. I've done that a few times and think it can help to re-asses how you use the site and what you want to get out of it etc.

Thanks Lana. :) That's a good idea. I'm waiting to make a final decision until after the follow up. Even though it'll probably be really straight forward, as I'm doing so well eating and everything, I still have much anxiety/angst about it!

I'm going to attempt to make the follow up from that's appointment with my GP today, for 3 week's time.
