A huge first
This is the first December I've ever gotten through without cutting. This month has always been my down fall with it containing Christmas and my birthday. I'll be doing really good then when this month comes along it always brings up bad memories.
But this time with support I manage to get through the month without cutting which makes me really happy and has given me hope for the rest of the year.

Well done!! That's a brilliant achievement!! If you can be that strong during your hardest month, you are strong enough to make it through the rest.
A new year, a new you. How about making 2015 the year you conquer 'it'? I know you can do it.
Keep up the fantastic work, and don't give up.
Xx

That's brilliant that you have managed not to cut during your most difficult month. You should be very proud of yourself! Try and remind yourself how well you've done and how strong you've been any time you're feeling down.
That's a great achievement - you should reward yourself somehow

Fight for another day

That's great, you've done really well. Perhaps write this down so that when you start to doubt your abilty to cope you can use this to remind yourself.

Oh wow, it sounds like that was a major achievement, so well done!
I hope you can draw on this success in any difficult times that may come, as Kat said above.

Thanks so much everyone! It really made me super happy reading all of ya'll comments!!
My goal this year is to reach my one year mark. I really feel positive that I can actually achieve it this time.
I am rewarding myself, I've talked to an old friend of mine who is a photographer and she is going to take some shoots of me to celebrate. I've always been scared having photos done due to the scars but I think it would be a positive outlook on it.

Good luck in reaching one year free- that's a great goal to have :)
Getting some photos taken sounds like a great idea; I hope you enjoy the experience and get some nice photos!

Thank you both! It'll be awhile before we take it {I want to do it during the summer} but I've already picked out two dresses. I'm super excited and nervous at the time I don't ever wear dresses since of the scars but I'm getting there. Thank ya'll!!
