Moving has made me feel lonely

Im 16 and recently moved to the UK. Up until now i thought i was dealing quite well with the situation but lately iv been feeling so lonely i stooped down to going out with a guy who is known to be a complete asshole. I have friends that I like, but something is missing and time isn't fixing very well. what should i do?

Basically get out there and find like minded people of your age. Are there any local clubs you could attend? Or even a job or something like that?

Im looking for a job, but thing is i hate where i moved too. its a small town that has NO clubs and i quite frankly hate the people here. its no a great social place.

Have you got any hobbies that you can do by yourself to help distract you from your loneliness? Like writing, music etc?

Or maybe even hobbies to get to know like-minded people? Do you play any sports or something similar?
