Do you buy physical newspapers any more?
With so much news available online and many newspapers having Facebook pages and websites, I was wondering if it was mainly the elderly who bought physical newspapers these days?
Myself I only buy when I need the paper as packing material.

I get the free Evening Standard. Mainly for bedding for my rats. I do read it sometimes though.

I only buy the local papers if there's something in it that I know is going to be in it (like my daughters P1 class photo).

My mother still gets the newspaper and reads it. I don't really like to read the news but I used to read the comics when I lived with her.
We have a similar thing in the UK. It's called The Big Issue. I don't think we have a seller any more in town. But I never used to buy it anyway.

I sometimes buy a paper on the weekends or if I'm travelling but probably only a handful of times a year.
I mostly read the news online but it's not the same as spending an afternoon going through a paper, reading small news pieces and doing the puzzles but I don't have time to do it properly very often and I begrudge paying £1.50 or whatever it is now for a paper I only get chance to skim read. I like to look at the same stories from different sites which isn't really feasible with a paper paper, except maybe the i.

I get the Metro, which is owned by the same company as the Daily Mail.
I only really buy a paper if I'm going to be doing some long-distance travelling and want something disposable for the train/bus. So only a couple of times a year.

I don't, but then I never bought newspapers to begin with. The one exception being the same as what Carmen spoke about, I'll often grab one of the magazines put out by my city's homeless project as it gets them into housing and having income and job trainings. But I often don't carry cash, so I suppose it's not as often as I could.

I buy the Sunday paper every week. Not so much for the news, though I read it sometimes, but for the ads and coupons :)

Not any more.
I honestly can't remember the last time i bought a newspaper. I get the free edition of the daily mirror to my tablet every weekday (if you want the weekend editions there's a cost), We used to get our local evening paper every day for years but it got so there was less and less in it so i cancelled it, and frankly never missed it.

I get The Guardian on weekends. Mainly because I enjoy reading it (and always save Ottolenghi's recipe columns), but also because it's free if you spend a tenner in Waitrose.
I do get The Economist and The Week in print, though.
