hey. im relatively new on the site and new to this thread. i love this thread! i am methodist and have been going to the same church my whole life. baptized when i was a couple months old, confirmed, cried, laughed.. everything in that church. i love it. im just glad that i have found a place that i feel like i belong.
random question. i have a teacher who is new to teaching and to the school. she just graduated from college a year or two ago and i think she has SIed because there are a lot of scars on her arm. they are like long burns of something like that. i asked her what they were one time in passing and said something about a cat. but do you think i should ask her again? ever since then we have kinda been fighting and not agreeing in class and i think it might be due to that.. im not sure.. any thoughts?
cbball51- yues i think you should ask again but find a time when you can ask in private like during lunch or somethin you could go to her class room and ask her.
I just found this thread and I'm new on here!I'm so glad there are other Christians on here!I've been Christian my whole life but recently I have just given God complete control of my life and I feel great about it!He has helped me through so much and I couldn't have gotten through things in my life with out God and my church friends!
i suppose i should introduce myself, im struggling to find the words and motivation basically, i believe God rescued me for my SI, became a very active christion also served in the mission field, now i have had some bad things happen im confused and well ive turned away from the church, started sh again about 2years ago, - i dont know what to believe anymore but i can feel a turning point ahead, make or break really and im scared,
Merry Christmas guys !!!!! :)
hope you all have great days, and god bless :)

“Nobody important? Blimey, that’s amazing. Do you know, in nine hundred years of time and space I’ve never met anyone who wasn’t important before.”

Quote from two of my m8s:
George (non christian): Christmas is over-rated, its just about card companys trying to make a quick profit.
Hannah (christian): Oh yeah. So christmas is over-rated. Name one other time that the son of god came to earth!
George: Technically it wasent even the 25th of december anyway.
Hannah: Bugger!
i have a new pastor, who knows nothing about whats been goign on with me, ive written him a letter telling him, he is a very kind caring spiritual man, i just dont want to scare/upset or hurt him... should i give him the letter?
thanks
^^ I'm in the exact same position! Just that my new youth priest is a jerk. He is so full of himself it makes me sick. But I need someone in case I get in trouble.
I think he can handle it, you know. If you need him to know, then go for it, he is a grown up and is supposed to be able to handle such things. You're probably not the first nor the last SIer he'll meet in his life. And he can help you. I'd say go for it.
