I'm trying to remember one with a green lion but I can't think of the name of the show! Anyone remember?
There was something called The Herbs with a Green Lion called Parsley...if that's it?
There was a dog on it too called Dill, I think.
It was from the 60's but I watched the repeats as a child in the 90's...or we had the video...or something. I don't actually remember
possibly Dill was from another of my favorites - I'm fairly sure The magic roundabout had a dog called Dill & a cow named Ermintrude, Zebedee was the main charector in The Magic roundabout, a strange creature that used to spring itself around.

Also, who remembers Pipkins ? Hartley Hare was such a cheeky charector as I seem to remember , & Fingerbobs, yes that was the mouse like finger puppets made from card, paper & whiskers.

I loved Tots TV. We went to Stratford Upon Avon when I was 5/6 and went to a Ragdoll (the TV company) shop there and I bought a talking Tilly doll. Still have her. ^_^
