Worried about the state of the world

Is it just me or this world is turning uglier? People are litigious and superficial, everyone thinks someone is out to get them, ignorance is not scorned but encouraged, differences are made more noticeable instead of having people bond on who they are. What should we do?

What should we do? Individually I think we should be the very best we can possibly be to counteract the negative.

There are also good people out there, but it does seem hard when those in power seem to care the least for everyone else. We can make a difference, and it's down to each person to realise that it's down to each of us and not leave it for someone else. Together the small people can be big.
