creative writing classes?

i've been really interested in taking some recently, but searching online only seems to bring me really good ones with expensive prices!
The london school of journalism looks amazing, but incredibly expensive, and I don't have that kind of money. And I know my parents will refuse to pay for it.
So does anyone know any free classes or even cheaper ones that I can try out?

Thank youu.

i'm not sure.
the only thing i can think of is something at a youth club, or something like that?
i don't think there are gunna be any "proper" ones for cheap. i think you should just google around. or visit connexions, or one of those type places?

I was going to go there..but I didn't for 2 reasons- it's in London and it's stupidly expensive.
I'm pretty sure you can do them online for a decent price. Also, I think there's a magazine around for creative writing/writers, check that out- there may be some adverts for courses in there.

Ask in your local library for a brochure for the adult evening class program. i know you can do writing courses in my area, and you get discounts if you are on benefits or low income. see if something is avaliable in your area. even if you cant get a discount it still shouldnt be too expensive

Look at your local college, they often to do creative writing classes, during the day and evening and the prices are normally reasonable

It's so easy to get lost in constantly having to present
whatever face you believe a person wants to see rather than your own

I go to a free one in a mental health group, but you'll have to come to Dublin so I don't know if that's any help.
