Supported living

Hi has any had any experiences with support living or the different types I have lots of choices to make not sure what they alll yet so my anxtey at the moment is going though the roof

Hi I lived in intensive enablement supported living for almost 3 years. I had my own self contained flat with communal areas and staff downstairs in an office 24/7. The staff would be there to talk to me, support me with making phone calls and sorting bills, medication, appointments etc or we would go out for coffee or walks. I hope this helps to ease your anxieties a little x

Hi I have lived in a care home which is like supported living for over 3yrs there is staff here 24\7 we have 7 staff in the day and two at nigh I also have keyworking with my support worker each week were we go out for coffee and do different things she also supported me to go to London on sat as she came with me on the train and tube as I have a fear of them.


I also have therphy here 121 evey week and then groups to plan things we want to do thoughout the week and weekend and do a rota for shopping and cooking
