Do you prepare for ward round like with a list or something? I find it helps to write everything down, not just like a list but so they can understand it, and then just getting them to read it themselves. Often they read it out so everyone can hear which is a bit cringey but it's easier than trying to explain things off the top of your head or remember everything or find that you're too anxious/whatever to ask one of the important things.
