This might not be an idea you'd consider if you're not confident but would you be able to create something like a social group focusing on something specific for college students to join, if there aren't already groups or ones that interest you? Do you speak to anyone in your classes? There's a website called Meetup which might have some groups on it that are local to you or accessible by public transport.
