Oh they cheat quite a bit. They use real pumpkins as well 'art pumpkins" that are wax (still hand carved but they can be reused every year lol). They also use mostly electric lights because of fire hazard. Its so dark and there are so many pumpkins (more than pics indicate) that I am sure someone would set themselves on fire.
