This might not make much sense, but I find the more I worry about something negative happening, the more likely it is to get worse. For example if I am panicking and I focus on the fact that I am panicking, the more likely I am to panic even more.
It's hard to do and a bit nuanced, but if you can accept that maybe things are off kilter a bit and just taking it as things are for the moment, that can take a bit of pressure and stress off. I hope you can see your therapist and GP and they help you with things too.
