That's more than likely not true. Norman writers in the 12th century wrote that the Irish Celts fought naked, but a lot of historians now believe that they were referring to the fact that they didn't wear armour and just fought in their normal clothes instead, but I doubt anyone knows for sure one way or the other these days. And that's just the Irish Celts, I have no idea about other Celts. Anyway, it's a bit misleading to refer to the Celts as an empire anyway. They didn't have any one ruler or centralised government controlling all of their territories. They had hundreds of tiny kingdoms, all sharing similar customs and language, but more or less independent of each other and constantly fighting amongst themselves.
