How tight exactly was it put on?
As it can be dangerous if you put something on too tightly it can stop the circulation.
You would notice this if the fingers feel numb or go blue/purple.

Then it will be a medical emergency.

If your fingers are not numb or gone purple/blue. Then you should be ok, but remember tubi grip bandages are for sprains/strains NOT for cuts.

However for a cut that's stopped bleeding to really hurt, means it's infected.
Go to a walk in NHS place or A&E straight away.
They will remove the improvised bandage/etc probably under a local anesthetic depending how deep the cut was.
Clean the wound properly, re-dress it and give you something for the infection.

Next time for wounds I'd use: Salvon Alginate dressings, water repellant and are for deeper wounds that help prevent scarring.
Apart from online, I guess Boots or Superdrug would sell them.
