Try to think of what you liked about cutting also. If it was a feeling you got or a sensation. Once you do you can find something that gives you that feeling or simulates the sensation. Holding ice or elastic bands are really useful, I used them alot when I was first trying to stop.
It may seem unbearable at first but eventually youll find another way to cope and release your emotions and the urges will lessen.
