Hi, could you go back to your gp, see if they can refer you somewhere else, i thought that if there was nothing in your area, they could send a referral out of area.
Please ignore the stupid comment that person made, like i said people can be so inconsiderate, recently my gp said to me "you dont look like someone who goes and vomits up her food", to make matters worse in the same week my therapist said "you don't have a typical anorexic"s diet" people can say idiotic things.
not sure if this will help, but i think MIND offer therapy, also have you tried BEAT they have some NHS services on there website.
