two and a half years since i heard from you.
i honestly thought you had forgotten about me by now. you've dated so many girls. am I just a number you think about every few years? i thought i would never hear from you again. we were so young then: seventeen… it's been seven years. am i even the same person? are you? at this point we were friends/dating for two years, and broken up for five.
when friends break up and ask me if it gets better, i lie, and tell them it does.
