This is kind of a belated response, but I've only just seen this.
There isn't an easy way but there are a few things that I found to help me ease off heavy drinking. First of all, get hold of the following:
- Multivitamin
- B Vitamin Complex
- Milk Thistle
I took all of these when I was detoxing and I don't know for sure, but I feel like they helped with the cravings. Also, EAT. Eat a lot. Stay full, eat filling, comforting foods and don't worry about eating junk food. Just stay satisfied until you're off the alcohol.
Actually staying off alcohol is hard, at least it is for me. I eat a lot of nutritious, filling foods as I tend to want a drink when I get hungry. Don't be too hard on yourself and if you have a drink, it doesn't matter, just keep your goal in mind for the next day.
