Have you thought about applying for jobs at other bakery's or even cafes/ shops. Now you have some experience it should be a bit easier and then you can get the money you want to go to France and it will give you something to do. If it is mainly because you want something to do then maybe see if you can work somewhere voluntarily doing something you enjoy. I'm currently doing some volunatry work when I can until I go back to uni and it is keeping me busy as well as keeping me up to speed on things I need to know for my course. If you do it in something you find enjoyable you can get a lot out of it and it looks great on your CV. But, if you need the money then it's not really the best option
