Don't mean to be a pain or anything...

I seem to remember someone/ maybe a couple of people responding (a whileeeeeeeeeee back now) saying they'd had overbite surgery?

Well...guess who's being broken and reset in two weeks! Anyway, I'm really panicking about how ugly/grumpy etc I'm going to look after said operation.....so umm.....I wondered if anyone had any photos they could perhaps PM? Or any pointers?

To say I'm nervous is a slight understatement.
Okay, now I shall quit post-whoring. Apologies for the new thread etc.

I was one of the ones who had underbite surgery, if that is any help? I don't know what the differences will be afterwards (if that makes sense).

I don't have photos or anything, but I just wanted to say don't panic or anything if it's really swollen at first. I know that probably sounds really obvious, but I hated looking in the mirror at first, because it was so swollen, but it does go down and go back to normal (lol).

That's probably totally not what you're looking for with this thread, so I apologise in advance. >.< But yes, I know how scary it is, so good luck. :)

Without sounding vain, I'm really not bothered about the op, more about the long term looks afterwards- swelling is bareable, but I just wondered if anyone knew about the jaw difference? As in when I move it myself I look damn ugly and it scares me so much!

Hi all btw :)

LUCEEEE. I was just thinking about you.

My brother is supposed to have this operation in a few years but he doesn't want it. He only bites on four molars!

You might have some swelling afterwards, but you said you can deal with that.
One of my ex's friends had the same op, & she actually ended up looking MORE attractive afterwards.
& anyway, nothing could make you less attractive, you gorgeous little thing you.

Hope the surgery goes well honey.
Lots of loveage. xxx
