Right guys, I want to know who you are. I thought to make this post on reading x_ruby-tuesday_x's [amazing] story in the creative corner, and this piece caught my eye...


So who are YOU.
You are the girl/guy that what?

Too often [as is said in this story] we define ourselves based on what has happened in our past, but what are you in the here and now?

Are you the girl who eats peanut butter and ketchup sandwiches and loves them? [YES!] Or the guy that has to run until he has a blister because that shows he's done enough? [Well.. no.. because i'm not a guy and you'll never catch me running..]

I am the girl that

- drives to ****ing Norwich and car flirts with some random guys, singing along to b*witched.
- will go right out of my way to help my friends
- DEMANDS cheesy chips after a night out
- loves too much and too fast, but I wouldn't have it any other way
- can spend a whole day in bed watching trashy TV
- is determined to not let the **** in my past get in my way of being who I want to be
- will laugh rather than cry
- will stop for 5/10/30/60 minutes when she sees something she thinks is truly beautiful, just to take it in

oh damn your soul searching thread. now you have me thinking about who i am. and i dont know...*Sigh*

I am the girl who
- Sings songs that don't even exist when I'm in a good mood.
-Needs to go out for fresh air at least once a day or goes insane
- Knows that if she's not pretty at least she's interesting
-Quakes with fear at the thought of ordering coffee
-Thought it would be quite cool if her boyfriend was her siamese twin, until it was pointed out how incestuous and wrong that'd be
-Forgets her bra isn't part of her body and frequently gets in the shower with it on.
-Makes a mean thai curry

I'm the type of chica who believes in Unicorns because I like what they stand for and if you tell me they aren't real, it will not phase me, because it's not me who misses out on the purity and beauty of such a dream.

The girl who loves diet coke, but insists on having a full glass and cant drink it when it starts going flat. So I have glasses all over my room with about an inch of flat coke in the bottom. ( Thankfully I also have a fiance who loves flat coke!)

The girl who enjoys knitting and crochet but hides it because even her family call her granny.

The girl who has had an epilator for over a year but still wastes money on disposable razors because epilators are scary looking.

The girl that strongly believes her future inlaws judge her constantly and think that this messed up little girl isnt good enough for their son.

The girl that eats marmite with a spoon for a midnight snack.. or lunch!

The girl with over 30 peircings that faints when a hospital needle goes anywhere near her.

The girl who loves to smile, and giggle.

The girl who thanks god she found her man at 17, because she hates dating so very very much.

The girl who is suddenly realising how amazing life is, and how lucky she is she managed to hold on when things were tough so she could experience love and happiness.

I am the girl who

• would buy cd/dvds over clothes and shoes anyday
• can go through a whole jar of peanut butter in under a week
• adores politics and debating
• always tries to be there for friends and family
• talks to inanimate objects and doesnt find it at all strange
• just sits and thinks for ages about how everything works- how the body/society/ the world functions and finds it truly fascinating.
• Believes that everything happens for a reason (no-one ever said it had to be a good one) the logic is unfaultable.
• tells the truth even though its not always what people want to hear.

I am the girl who:
*is obsessed with colourful things.
*watches arthur on Iplayer.
*feels guilty about the tree that got chopped down.
*works with children because its simple and safe.
*feels sad that she had to give up diet coke for caffiene free.
*worries that one day her bf will see sense and run away.

- Forgets birthdays ALL the time and doesn't mean to
- Leaves her washing up in the sink instead of stacking it on the side
- Can get dressed in 5 minutes, yet takes half an hour to decide what to eat
- Will read Harry Potter over and over again until she dies, and reference it at every possible moment
- Will do anything in her power to help a friend
- Will blurt out whatever thought comes into her head, regardless of what the conversation is about
- Loves good surprises
- Would give anything to sing all day
- Taps her feet and jiggles her legs incessantly

I could go on. This is such a good thread Alex, it's cheered me up no end.

I am the girl who...

- Draws pictures of sunflowers and daisies almost every day ^_^
- Sits up at night just to look at the moon.
- Has suddenly found her talent for photography.
- Seems to bounce back after everything, even if she doesn't really want to?
- Melts chocolate on the edge of cups of tea *giggles*
- Will randomly start laughing at something she found funny days ago.
- Knows we have to laugh at the things that would otherwise make us cry.
- Wears too much black eyeliner and mascara.
- Drinks way too much coffee and makes a f'kin good cappucino.
- Is not ashamed to say she loves her teddies <3
- Writes poems and stories and diary entries - even if they're no good.
- Always smiles when she sees the sun.
- Is realising that she's actually not all that bad a person by replying to this thread.
