Have you ever...?

...opened a can of Mac n' cheese using a screwdriver and scissors???

Because I just did, with the idea from the amazing Emily (Femme Fatale) and 2 pints of cider in my system, and a craving for mac n' cheese =]

I'm now eating it cold, because I'm a skank, a uni student and well cool =p

I advise you all try it. Look out for cheese splashage.

Sounds challenging lol.
No I haven't.

Heidi Tiger 14-10-2008 07:17 PM

I've never eaten macaroni cheese out of a can, I thought you had to make the cheese sauce from scratch!

Douglass 14-10-2008 07:36 PM

the thought of mac and cheese in a can makes me feel sick, even though I can eat it, its just the thought which grosses me out.

J.K 14-10-2008 07:45 PM

I can't ever say I've done that. I'm tempted to try it though. I usually hit things with a hammer if I can't get it open. Being the master of subtly that I am.

Splashage...Amazing.

akita 15-10-2008 05:26 AM

Can honestly say I haven't

I've opened a can of Spaghetti-O's (probably just an American food) with a pair of scissors before. It took me like an hour. I was stupid and bought a can when I didn't have a can-opener, and I couldn't find one in my whole residence hall at my university. But I was very hungry and really craving Spaghetti-O's, so you know, I did what I had to do lol. And I ate them cold too.

I think food tastes so much better when you have to work hard to get it.

froot_loop 15-10-2008 06:53 AM

hahah. that's brilliant. ;P

Liar. 15-10-2008 07:22 AM

cold mac n cheese.....grosssssout!!!

i tried to open a tin once, with a can opener and everything. it wouldn;t work so i took to et with a pair of scissors and a hammer.
That worked.
Then i realised the reason it was so hard was because the can was upside down...:\

Star No Star 15-10-2008 02:33 PM

Crazy fool.
Was a pretty impressive hole in the top of the can though, haha.
But no, I just use a can opener? =]

lungs locked lips locked 15-10-2008 02:36 PM

I'm glad some people are impressed =p
Its why my dad should never foget his tool box, now his screwdriver will smell of cheese *cackles*
Cold Mac n' cheese is amazing =p especially after three cans of cider (Y)
I did buy a can opener today though, so there will be no more cheesy tools =]

Leo Pard 15-10-2008 02:38 PM

NOMNOMNOM

It's cos I is genius.....

YAY can opener!!
Sometimes its fun to stab things with tools though.

Star No Star 15-10-2008 02:48 PM

Why do you insist on eating things cold out of cans *shudders*
haha =]

lungs locked lips locked 15-10-2008 02:58 PM

Lozz, its because I have truely embraced the Uni student way of life (Y) yesh.
Emily you are a genius dear, but I think I'll leave the tools alone from now on.

That is unless any of you cross me. Then I'll jab you in the gums with my screwdriver!!!

*giggles*

Leo Pard 15-10-2008 04:16 PM

Hahahaha fair enough.
Please don't jab me... *puppy eyes*

sweetsunday 15-10-2008 04:49 PM

i have yes... well, no, i got some burly men that were in the room below me to do it, cos we couldnt find the tin opener.

it wasnt particularly successful. they nearly ended up finger-less.

:-S so i must admit, im pretty impressed with your tin opening skills :-)
