Mental health act assessment
 

I'm currently waiting for a mental health act assessment and I'm terrified. I've never been In a hospital before. I'm hoping I cam talk my way out of it.

Does anyone have any advice

I had to have one. I was shitty it. I ended up under htt

I'm currently under home treatment. They say I'm too high risk for them to manage in the community

I don't think we're allowed to give advice for how to talk your way out of it, because that would probably be considered tip sharing.

I'm sorry you're in this situation and I know how scary it must be. I guess what I would generally advise would be:
- be honest with them about what is going on even though it is hard and scary
- ask what they would need for you to be low enough risk to manage in the community
- work with them to make those things happen
