Hiding cuts from loved ones?

I got a problem my fiance don't know I started to cut again and at the moment I'm not ready to tell him so when we get intimate its very difficult as I'm struggling to hide my cuts. Any advice?

Hey,

That sounds so difficult:( How do you feel he would react if you were to tell him? Like, what is stopping you? Maybe talking to him (or anybody else who you trust and could get you through the rough patch) would help, because then you can get help/support to stop cutting and not have to feel guilty and self-conscious. Because feeling like that in bed with someone is horrible, and nobody deserves to feel like that. Also, as I don't know where said cuts are I cannot comment about hiding them and I'm not sure I would encourage you to hide such things from loved ones.

Sorry this reply didn't really go in the direction that you asked for. Maybe if telling him you're cutting again is too hard, could you tell him you're struggling with x, y and z in your life, and work through it together like that?

*hugs* Sorry this wasn't a better response, but I thought something is better than nothing.

Eventually he will find them, and probably be upset that you didn't feel comfortable enough to tell him so you'll need to find a way to talk to him about it because it won't go away.

I've been in the situation before though and it's a horrible place to be in.

You need to tell him not hide it. I been there an he almost ended it. Cuz I know he wants to be there to help you throw this. Yes he mite be upset, but he will be more upset if u hide it longer. I know your probably scared to tell him, but after you tell him you will feel alot better.
