Want To Give Up.. Whats The Point?

I really want to die.. everytime I get into a car I will it to crash and kill me.. I even wish that I would get really sick and die.. and since none of that has happened.. I just want to kill myself.. I'm just so depressed and over all this bullshit we all call life.. I can barely remember feeling happy.. I am just over it. I just want to give up.. :crying:

I know this is going to sound really unbelievable right now but things can get better because that dark cloud you're under i promise it can't last forever things change, life changes gets a bit brighter eventually.the past never goes away but bit by bit you can feel better again its just going to take a long time-its worth it though trust me! Do you see a counsellor? Have ypu got any ways pr people in your life that help distract you from how you feel?

I fear oblivion
Honestly everything you said circumstancially makes sense. Meaning is something that ii struggle to find. If nothing else I've tried setting dates/goals. Then once I get to that, I look forward.

"I just need to finish thiss job''
"I just have to make it untill summer"
"It's summer I might as well get some sun"
This kkind of pattern hhas saved my life time and timee again. Big pictures are overrated, trust me.

Hello Sam,

I'm sorry you're feeling so distressed. I can relate to those thoughts and feelings, but ajrocks is right, things won't be like this forever. I have the odd day when those thoughts resurface but for the most part I don't have them.

It might be worth trying to find something that you're interested in so you can distract yourself from these thoughts. Also, if you can do something productive it gives you something to keep going for - like a puzzle or craft item that you keep going until you finish, then find something else.

It's not easy, but it works.

Does your counsellor know how hard you're finding things right now?
