I might be in a horror film!!!
 

I'm really excited about this. I go to an arts college, so there are so many opportunities for this, but this is my first real film I'm going to be in! I've always been in stage shows, because I sing and act (if you want to hear me sing I will link you to my Youtube!), but this is my first time where I actually get to speak on camera. (I was in an adapted scene from The Breakfast Club earlier in the year, but I was Alison and I had no lines.)
Basically, it's a one scene film about a girl in the circus who is supposed to be doll-like. She goes to visit this elephant who I'm pretty sure is going to be put down for stepping on a circus performer and her animals. She's friends with him and convinced it was a mistake and that he's not a wild animal, but then he molests her. The director assured me there was no nudity involved and that she would only film what I was comfortable with.
I met with the director a few minutes ago at the Starbucks on campus and I read the lines for her. She told me she really liked how I read them, that I had the right kind of voice and tone for the character. She didn't want me to read the screaming parts because we were in public. She also said she wasn't concerned about whether I could scream or not because she could dub that over, which is good because I can't scream (at least not a shriek-scream). She said, and I indirectly quote, "If you were bad, I would tell you." So I think that means she liked me. :D She said she's filming tomorrow night-ish, which works for me. She's going to let me know if I got it by 6 or 7 tonight, because she said there were 2 or 3 other girls interested in it. I'm really excited and I hope I get this!!!

I signed up to be an extra in world war z when it was filming in Glasgow but I never got picked :-(

Oh wow that's so cool!!!

Not sure. It's a short film, literally one scene with me as the only actor in it, so it shouldn't take that long. I still haven't actually been given the part yet, too, so nothing's definite. But I will totally ask when the filming is over!

and basically you're going to be molested by an elephant?? :-O
