Good ED workbooks/self help books?

So I'm looking for some good ED workbooks/self help books.

I already have Overcoming Binge Eating - Christopher Fairburn

If you know of any let me know please.

I'm looking for ones aimed at bulimia to help me.

Any suggestions are muchly appreciated.

Hi Wonderwall

I am afraid I don't know of any books, but someone posted a link to an article about intuitive eating the other day which might be helpful to you? It was definitely in a thread in the Eating Disorder Support forum...I will try to find it now!

ETA: Here it is!

I've got hundreds on my book shelf & it depends whether you find CBT helpful or DBT, Personally I find DBT helpful but CBT is just as good, There's lots to chose from & most are available on amazon to buy in book form or tablet, kindle etc. I'd suggest going to your library & trying some out?, The 2 I really liked are;

Overcoming Bulimia Self-help Course (CBT) - Peter J. Cooper [This one is a 3 book set.]
Overcoming Bulimia Workbook - Randi E. McCabe

Beat also has this online self-help on Bulimia.

The 8 Keys to Eating Disorder Recovery is amazing! It's written by 2 people who have overcome it and I highly recommend it

What's Eating You by Tammy ??? I've forgotten her surname.

and for bulimia:

Getting better bit(e) by bit(e) by someone, maybe ulrike schmidt or janet treasure. One of those.

The website that helped me the most and is literally the best recovery aid for bulimia is bulimia help.org

I am unsure if it is free anymore because I signed up when it first was made, but it is AMAZING! I sound like a sales person but it was the one most useful thing that helped me. x

I also have the DBT skills workbook for Bulimia. Really helpful, especially if you've done DBT before.

If you want to know more about Intuitive Eating then get the book of the same name by Elyse Resch

Life Without Ed by Jenni Schaefer is a great one, as well as Goodbye Ed, Hello Me by the same author. :) Highly recommended!
