Do you believe in ghosts?..

Just to clear this up,

Who believes in ghosts and who doesnt?

Eccentrics 19-08-2013 05:47 PM

I do!
I don't believe that they can hurt people or anything, but I do believe that spirits wander around and watch the world.

The One Who 19-08-2013 05:57 PM

No. Nor psychics or mediums or any of that stuff.

GlitterTrashDoll 19-08-2013 06:19 PM

Nope. I'm with Claire on those, I don't believe anything. I believe once your dead that's it.

Colley2698 19-08-2013 06:21 PM

Yes I do believe in ghosts I have a photograph of two ghostly figures a man and a woman and I've also had a strange experience seeing my great grandmother who passed away a very long time ago in my bedroom

happywondering 19-08-2013 07:45 PM

I don't know. I am open to the idea of it, I don't necessarily believe in ghosts though.

FabulousMike 19-08-2013 07:47 PM

I do not, not at all.

I've watched those early morning T.V shows about people that can talk to the dead and all that stuff and I just sit here shouting 'bullshit' or 'go back on your meds'...

Also, POTATO!

Beautifully Broken 19-08-2013 08:05 PM

I answered potato just cause it was there.

I don't believe in ghosts, unless something strange happens and no one was there before lol.

whirlpools 19-08-2013 08:18 PM

Yes, I do.

Cersei 19-08-2013 08:58 PM

Don't believe in any of it.

Isoverity 19-08-2013 09:00 PM

Ghosts no - demons yes

insidemyhead 20-08-2013 07:46 PM

Yes I do. Simply yes.

bigmouth strikes - again 20-08-2013 07:57 PM

yes I do

Rhuben 20-08-2013 09:18 PM

Having experienced psychosis no I don't. I know very well from first hand experience the brain is capable of making you believe in nonsense that isn't real.

People who claim to experience ghosts are likely just misinterpreting auditory and visual information, that coupled with a pre-existing confirmation bias causes them to ignore other more logical explanations for their experiences in favour of just blaming it on ghosts and other such nonsense.

DarkWhispers123 20-08-2013 10:19 PM

Yes I do!!

pixiedust_11 20-08-2013 10:23 PM

I think humanity have a tendency to cast off ideas that are not immediately 'proveable'. There are many things in this life that we do not understand, but that does not mean they are not true.

Yes, I believe in ghosts.

Britney Spears 21-08-2013 01:06 AM

I answered POTATO lol

Not entirely sure, but I guess for the most part, I believe in them.

my GF's dad is a ceazy physicist and he says ghosts are energy left from a dead body, like when someone dies theyre entire energy source doesnt cease exitance hence you can sometimes feel a chill or hear sounds.

i dont know in detail but i believe him because he is a crazy advanced scientist who specialises in energy.

Yeah! Our "souls" are energy. And energy cannot be destroyed, it can only transform.

So our energy goes somewhere. All of us does not simply just die.

Pretty much my argument. If energy cannot be created or destroyed, then we don't just cease to be. From a scientific perspective, it's impossible.
