It will never be Disney land Florida but its got to be a step forward from the dire theme park we have at the moment. Thorpe park is decent and close to me. Alton towers is toilet and i cant even remember the names of the others, pretty forgetable.

I'm afraid I was too distracted by those weird-ass spiders to pay any attention to the theme park stuff! They have like ALL the eyes D=

In other news, I love Thorpe Park :)

At least theyre finally doing something with Swanscombe. There isnt really any theme parks around kent so thats always good.

Spiders dont bother me!Apart from that I feel sad that their home is being destroyed!

I'm normally OK with spiders, but this one pushed my spider tolerance :P

I dislike spiders, and notion of jumping spiders even less so, I also now regret moving to Kent lol, jk.

It's nice that they're planning to accommodate the spiders by maintaining a 27 acre nature reserve on the site. Most builders would have just bulldozed them and not notified anyone.

How exciting!

Sucks to be the builders etc that have to down tools though.

Personally, I think that the spider is rather cute. I would like one as a pet...

^We went there yesterday!! And dragged Claire (Imperfect.Star) onto the biggest rollercoaster!

What rides did you go on?

I remember going on the Dragons Claw as a kid, and when it stopped for us to get out I was so short I fell out the seat. Ouchies.

We only went on the big rollercoaster (the one with a proper vertical bit and a corkscrew loop)- it was grim weather so we wouldn't of stayed long enough to make use of wristbands, so just paid for tickets for that ride.

In other news, are you coming to Thorpe Park for Jodie's birthday Steph?!
