Felt inspired to write a bit of poetry :)
 

I know it's rubbish and this is probably the 4th poem I've ever written in my life, but I thought I'd share it as I felt a little inspired today :)

I will not let the darkness extinguish the light,
shining brightly at the end of this life,
The adventures ahead that we want to pursue,
persuading our minds of the souls hidden view,
Breathing through eyes with fiery hearts,
our passion striven minds on the empty paths
Of the parts amidst that we want to fulfil,
time for laughter and yet something there still,
A gift of time that is given to us,
the love refined that we find around us,
Drenching our minds with a hopeful sight,
crushing the waves of formidable fright,
Breaking the screaming silence of death,
until hope, once more, rises from its bed.
I am a bearer of loves true light,
through faith and hope, I will end this plight.

It is not rubbish, I really like it.
