I found a new razor... I'm really worried about how my friends will respond to the new looking cuts :/ I'm sorry for triggering content.

Do your friends have to see them?

I know I am :/ I have really been away from cutting for a long time... An this razor makes me feel happy again :/ But my friends ask about it a lot, and they make me show my arms, and I wish they wouldn't.

What exactly are you wanting help or support with? If you can be more specific then I'm sure people will be willing to help more.

Remember, you are under no obligation to answer your friends or show them. How do they make you show them? If they physically do something to see the wounds, that's unwanted physical contact and you can tell them to back off and get their hands off you.

Sorry- you posted whilst I was typing. You said the new razor makes you feel happier. Clearly something about that is bothering you. I also have to agree that I don't understand why your friends even have to know that you self harm, let alone actually see the injuries. If they do see them though, why do you think they are concerned?

It scares me that I am excited about these new razors... It makes me feel extremely sick. I feel like an utter sicko for liking these razors... T.T And my friends really watch me, and study my injuries, and scold me when I do bd, they sometimes mistake cat scratches for cuts and yell at me for them. They really hate my SI...

I'm not deliberately being a bitch by not giving at advice at this point about your thoughts about the new blades, I just genuinely don't know what to say because I have had the very same thought process, of being scared about how excited a new tool makes me.

If your friends are like that tell them to f off basically and not to force you.

I don't really get why your friends would actually notice a difference in how they look? Also if they get that mad at you, then keep away from them. They are clearly not being particularly helpful to you.

Please don't feel like you have to tough it out alone. If you would like to start again with a more specific concern and minus the trig part then I'm sure you will have more luck with advice.

Let us know what it is exactly thats bothering you... Your friends? The excitement at a new razor and its damage?
