Feeling alone

Things are really weird at the moment. I've been in and out of hospital and a&e all week, and it's really taken its toll on me and my partner. All we're doing is arguing. Apart from my partner, the people I've seen on the ward and my brother today I've had no contact with anyone for the last week and a half.

I feel so isolated. when I do go out I end up feeling really anxious, and can't cope with it, but when I stay in I feel so alone.

I feel like no one understands what I'm going through. I just tried talking to a friend online, and he told me he didn't know what to say, and invited me round... When I took him up on the offer he turned round and said 'actually I've got loads of work to do, I can't see you now'. Its like I'm hasselling everyone, and none of my friends want to know me while I'm like this.

I just don't know what to do :(

edit: sorry this should have gone in vetrans support

It sounds like you desperately need something, and are not finding it.
I understand the feeling totally alone and not understood, being a 'burden'.
Do you think a longer stay IP might help? Long enough to get you 'stable' and listened to, but not too long.
Sorry your friend changed his mind like that; it doesnt feel very nice does it?
But most ppl are somewhat lost as to what to do/say; it isnt you specifically, tho it feels it.
What would help you the most right now?
Do you know why this week has been so bad for you?
xx
