I got this for my b'day, I think.

It's my next book to read :)

Jodie Picoult is *the* most amazing author.

Jenny bought me The Pact, and Disappearing Acts.

Two of my favourite ever books, hands down. :)

Queen Crabbit 13-05-2007 12:56 PM

I started reading it last night.

The going back and forth between time periods confused me a bit, but I've got the hang of it now.

:]

I want that book. However I don't really have any money to buy it, and Mummy wont buy it for me. But it's next on my "To Do" list.

Queen Crabbit 16-05-2007 09:12 PM

I finished it yesterday.

Amazing.

I have to say that I don't enjoy Jodi Picoult terribly much. I find that her books tend to all be quite similar but my mum loves them so I shall take a look at this one

I just ordered tthis!

aweebitdark 04-06-2007 06:28 PM

it's true that Jodi Picoult books can be quite formulaic (something happens and the police get involved, then often there's a court hearing, then the twist at the end...). what's good about them is that they're well written and researched (I particularly noticed the good research in tenth circle, with the SH part of the story), the characters are well-rounded, and they're very easy to read.

I've been waiting for this to come out in paperback, and I'm looking forward to reading it :-)
