You've probably seen all the X men movies, but if not they are excellent!

mercipourlevenin 21-09-2009 07:20 AM

Of course ive seen the x,men movies:P, Theyre amazing , I love em,

Benji - will do:P

Benji 21-09-2009 01:16 PM

ESPECIALLY Lesbian Vampire Killers.
It is amazing, on par with Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter. Movies like these give me hope that maybe, just maybe, vampires can recover from Twilight.

mercipourlevenin 21-09-2009 04:20 PM

Haha , I agree , We need a wave of brilliant dark creepy vamprie films to wash away the horrible disgusting repulsive memory that is ... Twilight
*shudders*

Ive got lesbian vampire killers on your reccomendation though:)

Hehe the new 30 Days of Night should help a little.

Anyway, back to movies...
Repo! The Genetic Opera is good

I-Feel-Infinite 22-09-2009 12:43 AM

Stardust.
ok ok probably not what you're looking for... but it's still fantasy!

monket 22-09-2009 07:18 AM

Benji, you suggested all the movies I was going to suggest, haha :D

But here's a few more:

Edward Scissorhands (probably already seen that, but it's still awesome)
Hook
Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within
Big Fish
Wristcutters: A Love Story (set in sort of a fantasy world, anyway)
Mystery Men (more of a superhero parody)
The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen

^^^ Yeah, going off those and Johnny, we may be distant cousins! D=

I forgot Tank Girl. You may have to walk through the very fires of Hell to get your hands on a copy, but it's worth every obscure step to get it.

mercipourlevenin 22-09-2009 09:24 PM

Im up for anything:P From horror to rom com, Ill watch anything

lungs locked lips locked 22-09-2009 09:35 PM

mercipourlevenin 02-11-2009 06:07 PM

SAW!! (subtle bump here)

Benji 03-11-2009 01:33 AM

I got Tank Girl. I cant believe it. It was two dollars in a record exchange store. I dont even have a VCR to play the tape on, but I had to buy it anyway. I hope someone, somewhere is a collector willing to pay a million dollars for it.

Firestarter ( stephen king book turned into a movie)
Killer klowns from outerspace (a dark horror comdey )

It ( a stephen king book turned movie )
Dracula dead and loving it ( a vampire comdey )

Cujo ( a Stephen king book turned movie)

Spider baby ( a black and white film from 1962 done by Jack Hill , the start of the movie is slightly slow , but its worth it...builds up and up and hten it gets good.. not overly gorey..but its worth it )

scareface ( the remake has Al pcino in it )

Legend (with tom cruise when he was atleast 18 - 19 )

Tommy boy (with David Spade )

the never ending story ( good fantasy movie )

starwars (all are good )
spaceballs (making fun of starwars yet its funny )

the cell (its a dark slightly horror film , it has J-lo in it )

Merlin (about the wizard )

Bedtime stories ( with Adam Sandler )

August rush (its a comedy romance , slightly darkness to it but its really good )

um..all i can think of right now

nowhereman 11-11-2009 09:04 PM

^^ I agree anything by Stephen King is good. I want to see Wristcutters.

Bitter_Angel 18-11-2009 01:10 AM

Bed time Stories was rubbish.
I guess you like king films then.

The orphanage is good if you can cope with sub titles (from the same director as pans labyrinth). I also watched orphan last week which was fairly good (horror type)

Little Miss Sunshine! I love it.
Have you seen any of the Hammer Horror films? They are incredibly dated and corny now but they have protrayed Dracula and Frankenstein well, in my opinion anyway.
I can't think of any right now, I'll get back to you.
