Me too Lorraine. I'm so grateful for the company.

It is starting to get dark earlier. Winter is on its way!

Sketchy 16-08-2017 09:21 PM

I'm not ready for winter. I still have my holiday to go.

Aubergine 16-08-2017 09:22 PM

Where are you off to?

Sketchy 16-08-2017 09:24 PM

I'm going to Arran. Only for three nights, but I'm looking forward to it. I hope to get inspiration for drawings there.

I always look forward to logging in to post here.

I hope we get good weather at the end of the month when I go away. I need to buy a waterproof jacket for walking just in case.

Aubergine 16-08-2017 09:27 PM

Sounds great, Lorraine. We may have our best weather to come.

Cacoethes 16-08-2017 09:35 PM

Also love this thread and it's epic peeps.

Hope weather holds for your holiday Lorraine. Mum and I are going away in November to Wales so similar fingers and toes crossed weather wise :P

Aubergine 16-08-2017 09:40 PM

Wales sounds nice, Katy. Will also keep things crossed for you weather wise.

Cacoethes 16-08-2017 09:41 PM

Wales is lovely!

Aubergine 16-08-2017 09:47 PM

It is!

I'm planning a trip on the train to Devon when we next have sunshine. I love Devon. Cornwall is my favourite but it's a bit far for a day.

Cacoethes 16-08-2017 09:50 PM

Devon is lovely! Ive never been to Cornwall but ive seen pics and it looks beautiful!

Aubergine 16-08-2017 09:53 PM

It really is stunning. Used to go there camping every summer as a child. Fond memories. :)

Cacoethes 16-08-2017 09:55 PM

I just looked up how far Cornwall is from me.
It would be about 9 hrs on train. 5 hours to drive
1 day to cycle. I would have thought it would take longer than a day to cycle 300 odd miles?

Aubergine 16-08-2017 09:58 PM

Wow! That's a fair distance!

Cacoethes 16-08-2017 10:04 PM

Yep!! I do want to go one day though!
Probably when i can drive because i imagine the train would cost about £373918283!!!

EDIT: Train would cost £153!!

The Worst Witch 16-08-2017 10:23 PM

I've never been to Cornwall. I've actually only ever seen England from inside a car, apart from going to York once as a kid. I don't really remember it actually.

I'm tired. I should probably think about going to bed soon.

Cacoethes 16-08-2017 10:25 PM

Im pretty tired too.
Will probably head to bed.

Night night all!!

Sketchy 16-08-2017 10:28 PM

I'm heading to bed too. Good night everyone.
