Coming into this site was quite overwhelming for me. It’s something I’ve not experienced before. Basically I am a senior lady with a long term illness which not only hurts physically but now mentally too. It’s not new so you would think I would have been used to it by now but the mental pain outweighs the physical side. It’s been a difficult year health wise dealing with ongoing problems and still more to face. Dr started to treat me for Anxiety but I couldn’t tolerate any variety of tablets. Felt awful. Fast forward last couple of weeks and because of the frustration I started to pinch my arm. I was shocked. This isn’t me. I am waiting for CBT but it’s a long wait. Any advice would be appreciated. I don’t want to tell my Dr as I don’t want the label on my medical history. Thank you for reading this.
