you could keep it for when you're annoyed with your mum-when my mum was mad at one of the family she bought the kids all the noisest toys she could find for Xmas including but not limited to a voice changer and a football whistle :P

An easel is a lovely idea if she likes to paint

As an arty person I have to strongly agree. I love painting at my easel.

Yeah, she's about the right age for an easel too if she enjoys art.

I'm not great at art but do enjoy painting, collage etc it may be crap but it's an outlet :)

This topic reminds me of Princess Diaries film where Mia and her 'mom' filled balloons with paint and threw darts at them. I'm probably a weirdo.

I'm not keen on art, I prefer to write.

Don't be so hard on yourself. I'm sure you do good stuff. As you say , enjoying it as an outlet is goid.
