How long have you been S/I ing?

Just curious.

I'm 37.
I stopped self harming regularly just over 2 years ago. Now it's just occasional when things are really bad.
I started consciously hurting myself when I was in my late 20s, but I've always had issues with eating/restricting food intake, and that's still somewhat of a problem for me.

I'm 22. Started self harming when i was 15. I stopped at 21 and was free for about a year and half, now i've started again.

since my 11th birthday actually! So 5 years tomorrow then...

I'm 22. I started Self harming when i was 16 i think. I have had times when i haven't Self-harmed tho.

I'm 15 on Monday! (sorry, I'm excited)

im 16 i started cutting just after my 13th birthday.

I'm 20, 4 years cut free, started cutting when I was 15.

15 now, started cutting at 14 I think but I've SIed in other ways all my life (hitting, headbanging, stabbing ... etc.) without realising that I was SIing.

I am 17 and the first time I can remember my SI I was 4

I'm 20, started cutting just over 7 years ago.

I'm 17; I've been cutting for about three months. But I went through stages of SI without realizing that was what it was, starting in 7th grade when I used to bang my head on desks, lockers, brick walls...I only recently saw the connection.

I'm 19 and started cutting when I was 16.

I started at 12, 16 now.

Started when i was 12/13, have stopped for months at a time, or simply days, depends. I'm 16 now and determined to stop before 17.

started at 11! 16 now

I'm 15 and I started consciously SIing when I was about 12 or 13 but now I look back I can see I used to hurt myself when I was little if I got annoyed or upset.
