Urge to starve
 

I'm feeling the urge to starve again. It hasn't been this bad in years. I'm trying so hard, but it's never enough. I don't see a therapist and my family is unaware of my history of mental illness and ED. My gp is also unaware. I'm losing my health insurance anyway, so it won't matter if I do tell him. How do I ignore the urges?

Hello, I am dealing with this at the moment as well. I don't see a therapist and my family can be quite unhelpful regarding my ED.

I find with urges it's a second by second, min by min, hour by hour, day by day type of thing.

What helps me is setting meal plans. Adequate ones. Ones that will fuel my body and not deprive me.
