So, just passed my one month mark, and I'm feeling pretty good about it, I think! I didn't really notice, cause it's been hard, but I mentioned it to someone else and they were really happy and supportive and congratulated me. They kinda helped me recognize it as a step forward. :)

Anyway, to celebrate, I made myself one of these out of bright orange paracord (:-D). For those of you who've never seen these before, they're called survival bracelets because you can unravel the paracord and use it to construct a shelter or splints or whatever you need if you get lost or injured.

My godmother saw it and when she found out what it was, she asked me to make one for her daughter, but only because her daughter loves mountain-climbing. She even paid me for it! :P But anyway, back on topic, this particular one has special meaning for me and it was really easy to make!

Why not make some more of those braclets for friends and family, "just a little gesture", "I like working with my hands", "they are nifty"- whatever, so you can be reminded by them everytime you see them how well you're doing and keep up your spirit! :D
