How Often Should I Chnage My Dressing?
 

Just wondering, but how often should I change my dressing on my cuts? Is twice a day enough or should I do it more often?

It depends on severity, but twice a day should be plenty.

It depends some on how much the wound is seeping. Twice a day is fine, once a day is fine also after the wound is about a week old. You should also always change the dressing as soon as possible if it gets wet or dirty.

If you saw the doctor for this wound they should have given you specific instructions on how to dress it and change it.

Irene brings up a good point, if you ever see a doctor, and are unsure of what their instructions are to you, or you need clarification, or they don't give you instructions, don't be afraid to ask them to explain in more detail or write it down. It is your right to understand your treatment fully.

I think twice a day is ok, but it depends how messy the wound is.
