Anyone remember Ohio is for lovers by Hawthorne heights?
|
I remember greebos, which were like the precursors to emos... I don't know how much of a local thing that was though
|

Like that name actually Eska. Incidentally what does Eska mean? |
This has reminded me that one day at my high school there was a huge fight between the moshers and neds and they were throwing bottles of Irn Bru at each other etc. Sounds totally Scottish. It made the newspaper and also my yearbook.

Lindsay it's from Romeo and Juliet!
"Feather of lead, bright smoke, cold fire, sick health, Still-waking sleep that is not what it is!" |
We had greebos at my school!
Yep I remember Hawthorne heights luna! I'll ask my sister when I see her next if emos are still a thing. She's 14 so she's the right age for that stuff!! |

At the town I used to go to school in, the chavs had the big park (big park massive *snort*)
And us emos/goths had the small park and a Morrisons in the next town Well at least the emos are still going strong!! |
Luna, that is not right. What is happening to the world?
On that note I'm going to mosh while I have a shower. |
Buttons, it doesn't mean anything, I just like the sound.
|
Everyone is here for this discussion, we're getting so enthusiastic!
|
Eska sounds like it should be a word.
|
Eska, you should make up a definition for it.
|
Eska kind of reminds me of my old horse who was called Tasca

Yeah we moshers had our hidden smoking area behind a building (did contain gas tanks so probably not our best idea :P) but the chavs (about 30 of them) all used to try and hide behind 1 tree 0.o |
